Prayer update - April 2022

4th April 2022

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

1 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

Pray for newcomers to the UK and diaspora peoples of europe

  • Pray as churches attempt to reach out to newcomers to the UK and diaspora peoples of Europe - migrants and refugees brought here by the pressures of the world.

  • Pray as Christians seek to meet their practical and spiritual needs while staying firmly fixed on the Gospel.

Anglican Mission in England (AMIE)

  • Pray for the Planting Team as they finalise the text for "10:30 Planting Plan" booklet and then design it.

  • Pray for some of our ordinands seeking roles as Assistant Ministers. Pray for our churches to be bold and creative to open up potentials.

  • Pray for James Leggett as Membership Director. He seeks to grow this team to 4-5 people as we prepare for future interest.

  • Pray that we will have a culture of prayerfulness and encouragement in the convocation.

Anglican Convocation Europe (ACE)

  • Pray as ACE seeks to embody its values in all that they do.

  • Gospel-sharing - ACE is passionate about Jesus so we seek to be bold and creative in making disciples for Him across Europe.

  • Spirit-dependent - We are totally dependent on the Holy Spirit to bring life, bear fruit and bring growth as we abide in Jesus, so we want our churches to be marked by expectant prayer and heartfelt worship.

  • Multi-cultural - We welcome and value cultural diversity across our churches, longing for the reality of the universal church that will encompass people from every nation, tribe, people and language.

  • Transformational - We seek to live repentant, godly, servant-hearted lives, marked by the fruit of the Spirit and known for our love as we serve one another and our neighbours.

  • Relational - As interdependent churches we seek to demonstrate nurturing gospel generosity to one another with gracious accountability.
