The Anglican Network in Europe Safeguarding Statement

The Anglican Network in Europe (ANiE) and its Dioceses are dedicated to complying with the national safeguarding regulations of the countries in which they function, ensuring that a strong framework is established for the protection of vulnerable children and adults. Clergy and leaders are expected to demonstrate integrity and embody the core values of their roles by providing leadership that is humble, service-oriented, biblically informed, theologically knowledgeable, pastorally sensitive, and compassionate. They must be accountable to their authorities, follow set goals and strategies, promote unity, and commit to the established safeguarding standards for the welfare of God’s people.

The UK Charity Commission requires trustees to establish protocols that protect all individuals engaging with their organisation from possible harm. If you have any safeguarding concerns regarding the ANiE Charity, please reach out to the designated safeguarding lead trustee, polly.skinner@anglicannetwork.org.
