Prayer update - January 2022

11th January 2022

Happy new year! We hope you were able to relax and celebrate over the holidays.

Here’s sharing some prayer points from the ANiE prayer meeting on Friday 7th January. At this first prayer meeting of the year, we took time to revisit our values as a network.

Please pray…

  • For gospel transformation… that from a foundation of heartfelt adoration of Christ, we would partner in mission boldly and creatively to make disciples for him across Europe; challenging distortions of the gospel message in the church and wider society which lead to confusion, ungodly practice and eternal danger.

  • For global vision… that we would value and welcome the racial and cultural diversity in our churches, that this diversity would impact our hospitality, worship and leadership for God’s glory

  • For unity in diversity… for unity in the network, that we would have humility and grace with one another as a testimony of Christ

  • For godly leadership… that our clergy and leaders would be above reproach

  • For the local church… that our structures serve our communities through the local church, for our application for charity status to be approved, and for good governance across the network.

Give thanks…

  • For new churches added to AMIE… Grace Church Newton Hall, and Holy Trinity Gateshead

  • For AMiE church plant, Redeemer Church Thanet, now a registered charity

  • For new ACE ministry unit, Wellspring Anglican Church, starting on 30 January 2022

  • For Christ Church Wyre Forest celebrating its 20th year of service on 29 January 2022

We also caught up with Crosslinks mission partners in the Czech Republic, Jirka and Keira Kralovi, who sent through this video.
